The Performer Horror Story Page

My name is Peter Sosna. Since 1977 I have been a professional magician. Over the years I have had some pretty strange things happen to me on stage. Some times wonderful things happen, but they don't make for very good stories. The horrible things that happen at shows, while they aren't a lot of fun when they are happening, make for great stories!

I've always said, if you want to have some fun, walk up to any performer, in any branch of show business, and ask them, "What is the worst thing that ever happened to you on stage". They will then tell you a hilarious story.

A number of years ago at a juggling convention in Massachusetts I convinced a bunch of performers to get up on stage and tell all everyone their Performer Horror Stories. It turned out to be a very entertaining show as the performers, one by one, tried to top each other.

Since then the idea has been kicking around in me head that I should try to compile some of these stories. Procrastinator that I am, I'm only getting to it now.

I hope you will enjoy the Tales Of Horror collected here. I'm starting off with just a few to get the ball rolling. I hope all of you performers out there will submit your own Horror Stories to help this site grow, (see the submissions page). You will of course be given full credit for your story, unless of course it's so horrible that you wish to remain anonymous.
